Contractors site signing in and out requirements “where to go on arrival”

Construction and Project Management Contactors:

If you are working for a main contractor, or supporting the delivery of a project, you will be expected to sign in with the main contractor and follow their signing in processes.

Maintenance Contractors Working in University Owned and Managed Buildings and Facilities (including IT Services Contractors):

If you are a contractor providing maintenance services, in University owned and managed buildings and facilities, you are required to electronically sign in on arrival. 

If you require a permit or access card/key you will need to attend at the Works Allocation/Contractors Sign In Office, located on the main Streatham Campus site, in Streatham Farm.

If your work does not require a permit or access card/keys, or if your work is to be carried out at the St Luke’s campus, you can sign in by clicking on the button above

It is also requested, that at the end of the day, you sign out and as appropriate, return keys, work sheets and permits to the office in Streatham Farm. You can sign out electronically using the QR code at the office in Streatham Farm or click on the button above.

Contractors Working for 3rd Party Providers ( e.g. UPP, Costa Coffee, Pre a Manger, Starbucks etc.):

Works in 3rd Party providers buildings and facilities and not contracted or being managed by Estate Services, are required to sign in at the appropriate building reception for the 3rd Party provider, or as per the contract instructions from the 3rd Party provider.

If your work needs a Permit to Work, this is required to be authorise and issued by the 3rd Party provider and will not be issued or authorise by Estate Services. Your RAMS will also be required to be reviewed and an authority to work issued, by the 3rd Party provider.

Permits to Work and RAMS should be available to view at any point whilst you are on-site and as requested under any inspection.
