International Welcome Programme (Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ)

Welcome to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ!

Our International Welcome Programme runs in September and January and is a designed to welcome you to the university and to help you settle into your new life with us. You can’t miss us in our bright pink t-shirts.

Our in person social events must be booked in advance online. Please wait until you are in the UK or have a confirmed arrival date before booking your social event tickets. We do not hold a waiting list but if an event shows 'sold out' and you still want to come please come at the beginning of the event with the correct event fee in cash and we will re allocate any unclaimed tickets.

You do not need to book onto any of our tours or talks, please just come along. If we are restricted in numbers due to capacity it will be first come, first served basis.

Our Students Guild are running a series of Welcome events throughout the week to introduce you to what the Guild does, the student led societies and society taster events. More information soon. 

We look forward to meeting you.

Celebrate the end of week 1 with a day trip to the beautiful Lanhydrock house and gardens in Cornwall. Explore the historic house and gardens, enjoy the walks, bring a picnic to enjoy or indulge in one of their cafes.

Join us every week during term in the Terrace (Devonshire House).
Doors open at 10:00 for us to get our drinks, chat and get settled before the activity starts at 10:30.

Each week we'll have a different activity; discussion topics, games, crafts, icebreakers and more. So plan to come for the whole session until 11.30 to make the most of this opportunity to meet new people or catch up with old friends in the friendliest space on campus. We can't wait to meet you and welcome you to the Intercultural Café family.

First 100 students receive a refreshment token. Last token given at 11am (or when we reach 100!).

Celebrate the end of week 1 with a day trip to the beautiful Cornish sea side town of St Ives. St Ives has three beautiful beaches, and the wonderful light has long drawn artists and tourists to it's windy streets and many cafes!
